I’ve spent years working in claims management from the field level up, handling large losses, high-volume environments, and complex files where details matter. My experience isn’t built on theory; it comes from real-world claim handling, working directly with policyholders, contractors, and carriers, and seeing firsthand where claims go right and where they go wrong. Over time, one thing became clear: Most claim problems don’t start at the end; they start at the beginning. Missed documentation, incomplete scope, and early decisions can shape the entire outcome of a claim. Once those issues are in motion, they’re often difficult to correct. That perspective is what drives my approach today. Whether I’m working as a consultant in insurance consulting, an appraiser, umpire, or a policyholder advocate, the focus stays the same: Get the scope right, keep the process clear, and make decisions that can be supported and defended. I don’t overcomplicate claims, and I don’t create problems that don’t exist. The goal is simple: bring structure, clarity, and experience to the claim so it can be resolved efficiently and fairly.
